| Peter Rubin is an artist, designer, illustrator, sometime animator, director and writer, with more than eighteen years of experience in major motion pictures and hundreds of commercials under his belt. His credits include Stargate, Independence Day, Star Wars: Episode II, Space Cowboys, Gangs of New York, Terminator III, The Surrogates, Green Lantern and Clint Eastwood's upcoming Hereafter.
He was the first feature film illustrator to make the switch to entirely digital media back in 1992, attracting attention for pioneering workflow techniques still in use today. Later, he spent four years as a senior art director at George Lucas' Industrial Light and Magic, where he became a trusted resource for directors like Eastwood and Jonathan Mostow, among many others.
His work has been published in The New York Times, The Hollywood Reporter, Perspective, and Millimeter Magazine, as well asThe Painter Wow Book.
